During his residency he participated in a research study designed to develop a new Advanced Laparoscopic Skills Curriculum for physicians-in-training and continues his work in the BCM Simulation Lab training residents for their certification in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery. As an Assistant Professor, Dr. Lang is passionate about utilizing the most up to date evidenced-based medicine and prioritizing patient education. He believes that empowering patient autonomy allows his patients to make well-informed decisions about what is best for their own healthcare.
